About Harmony

A bit about me + my background

People have been the center of my career - in public relations, as a foster care recruiter and as a middle and high school counselor. I love connecting people to their inner drive, to their voice and to the relationships and resources that make them thrive.

I was born in Boise, Idaho, lived in Salt Lake City for a spell as a kid and then “grew up” in Portland, Oregon. My family moved to Bend just two years ago, a return to my spouse’s hometown. My heart sings when I’m under the sun here in Bend, Oregon. I can’t get enough of the starry sky, the ponderosa and sage in the air. It may be no surprise that my family and I love to be outside. We love camping, discovering new places and sharing meals with friends. My spouse and I have two kids in elementary school and a beloved dog named Albert.

I am a Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Oregon and work with individual adolescents and adults. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned my Masters of Education (M.Ed.) and licensure in school counseling at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

Philosophy + Approach

It’s common to feel “stuck” in life, to be caught in anxiety, depression, deep grief or unpredictable emotions, but I am convinced there is always a way to become “unstuck.” This involves learning about how your mind, body and emotions work. It requires self-discovery and self-awareness. Your wisdom will get you there and I’d love to help you tap into it.

In therapy I draw on my professional experience, training and education to provide integrative therapeutic services to adolescents and adults. This means I will use many different psychological approaches to meet the needs of clients, while being thoughtful about each person in their environment and their relationship to their own wellness: emotional, psychological, and physical.
